David Blundin (Chairman and Co-Founder), Managing Partner, Link Ventures
David is the founder of Link Ventures and serves on the boards of many high technology and Internet related companies. He currently serves as the Chairman of Vestmark, Inc., which he co-founded in 2001. He also serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Cogo Labs, a technology-based incubator. Prior to its sale to Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP) in 2011, David was the Chairman of Autotegrity, Inc., a data analytics and online marketing company that runs an automotive shopping service, connecting consumers with auto dealers. Previously, David was Chief Technologist at Vignette Corporation, which had over 1,000 enterprise customers, including seven of the top ten firms in the Financial Services sector. Prior to Vignette, David was the founder, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of DataSage, Inc. DataSage was acquired by Vignette in a half-billion dollar transaction in January 2000. Prior to 1997, David was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Cirrus Recognition Systems, a data mining software company. Previously, he was among the first ten employees at MicroStrategy, Inc. and, subsequently, served on MicroStrategy's Board of Directors in 2003 and 2004. David received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he researched neural network technology at the Artificial Intelligence (AI) lab.
John Giordano, Senior Partner, Link Ventures
John is a Senior Partner at Link Ventures and serves on the boards of several of Link's Internet related companies. John is also the President of Affiliate Media Network, Inc., an online lead provider. Prior to joining Link, John served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of WebCT, Inc., one of the world’s leading providers of e-learning systems. Prior to joining WebCT, John served as the President, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Peritus Software Services, Inc., a publicly traded company. Prior to joining Peritus, John served as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Bull HN Information Systems, Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of France’s Group Bull. John graduated summa cum laude from Boston College's Carroll School of Management with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
Sanju Bansal, CEO, Hunch Analytics
Sanju is the co-founder of MicroStrategy, Inc., (NASDAQ: MSTR) a worldwide provider of enterprise software platforms for business intelligence (BI), mobile software, big data and cloud-based services. He served as MicroStrategy’s Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Executive Vice President until November 2013. From 1993 to 2012, he served as Chief Operating Officer of MicroStrategy. Sanju serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Cvent, Inc., (NYSE: CVT), a cloud-based event management software provider, and The Advisory Board Company (NASDAQ:ABCO), a research services company. In 2013, Sanju received the Washington Business Journal’s Outstanding Directors award for his work with Cvent. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a Master of Science degree in computer science from The Johns Hopkins University.

Tom has been the Chief Executive Officer of Cognius since February 2013. Prior to leading Cognius, Tom was the Vice President, Online Marketing at Cogo Labs. Before joining Cogo, Tom served as Search Marketing Manager at Commission Junction. Tom is an expert in the field of Internet search including, Search Engine Management (SEM), Email and Display.
Seth Birnbaum, CEO and Co-Founder, EverQuote
Prior to founding EverQuote, Seth co-founded Verdasys Inc. in 2002 and served as its Chief Executive Officer until October 2010. Seth served as co-founder and Vice President of Systems Engineering at NeoGenesis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. beginning in October 1997. He has a broad range of engineering skills, information technology expertise and start-up experience. Seth holds a number of patents in chemistry and drug discovery technologies and computing systems. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
John Lunny, CEO, Vestmark
John joined Vestmark, Inc. in April 2002 and was named Chief Executive Officer of Vestmark in 2008. Prior to joining Vestmark, John was Senior Director of Engineering at Vignette Corporation, where he was responsible for Vignette's web analysis, web personalization and wireless products. John joined Vignette through their acquisition of DataSage, an eCRM software provider, in January 2000, where John was a co-founder. Prior to DataSage, John had more than 10 years of TCP / IP research and development experience through his tenure at The Wollongong Group (acquired by Attachmate), where he was responsible for their network management products, the United States Department of Defense, where he implemented one of the first FDDI interconnects, and the MIT Laboratory of Computer Science, where he helped develop the reference TCP / IP implementation (PCIP) for the Internet. John double-majored in electrical engineering and computer science at MIT.
Dr. Jonathan Shapiro, CTO, Cogo Labs
Jonathan has over 15 years of experience researching and building large-scale Internet services. As a Professor of Computer Science at Michigan State University, his research focused on the role of economic behavior in computer networks and distributed applications. Prior to his academic work, he was a senior engineer at News Internet Services, a News Corporation (News Corp) company, where his team brought Fox News, Fox Sports and numerous other News Corp brands to the Web for the first time. Jonathan received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics from Columbia University and his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
